The Madrid Higher School of Design will install two innovative decoration projects at Intergift

INTERGIFT| From 6 to 10 February 2019

In its upcoming edition Intergift will have two decoration projects made by the students of the Master’s in Commercial Spaces of the Madrid Higher School of Design. An initiative that shows once again that the International Gift & Decoration Trade Fair, organised by IFEMA from the 6 to 10 February, supports young talent.

27 Dec 2018

The first project, located at the outdoor connection between halls 7 and 8, under the name Dispersion, refers to the effect generated when light goes through a prism and reflects back the whole range of colour. Inspired by this concept the students resort to innovative elements, such as colourful thread and vinyl that surround the area and lead visitors to the outdoor plaza, flowing between halls.

The second project is set up in a restaurant and networking area in hall 1. The design was created from the need to give a second life to the ephimerous elements of trade fairs. The furnishings will be created to relive, recycle and reuse. This interior decorating idea is divided into two plazas and a bar area where the professionals can relax. When the Trade Fair finishes, all of the decorative elements will be donated to a social charity.

Alongside Intergift we will also find Bisutex, the International Fashion Jewellery and Accessories Trade Fair, in Hall 4, and Madridjoya, the International Urban and Trendy Jewellery and Watch Trade Fair –Hall 6, making this a great global event for trends, fashion and consumer goods. It will also coincide with Momad – Madrid is Fashion, over the weekend, from the 8 to 10 February.
