Blending strong technical and commercial business expertise, I excel at managing complex negotiations with global partners – key wins include Samsung, Apple, Unilever, Ford, Faurecia, Autoliv, Seagate, Ferrero, etc.
I began my career in software programming and control system engineering and soon took a role at Motoman Robotics, Yaskawa, where I was hired to grow the robotics business in Italy and Spain. After a few years, I landed a global role with Omron Europe, creating and managing the first 3 Omron robotics product lines. While there, I established myself as an innovator in product development and commercial marketing, gaining exclusive product distribution rights in Europe.
Later transferring to the U.S., I played a leading role in Omron’s ground-breaking acquisition of Adept Technologies, which more than tripled Omron’s robotics business. I earned 2 promotions in 2 years and established an Omron robotics business unit. Using customer insights to identify market gaps and in-demand capabilities, I led Omron into new product lines, like integrated robotics and collaborative robotics, while evolving mobile robot products into unprecedented market offerings.
