Seipasa, a Spanish company specialised in the development and formulation of biopesticides, biostimulants and fertilisers for agriculture, will present its new international business units at Fruit Attraction 2019. The company has announced the opening of new branches in the USA. UU., LATAM, Europe and Africa, which join the subsidiary with which Seipasa operates in Mexico since 2009.
The new business units consolidate the international presence of Seipasa, currently exporting to over 20 countries around the world. The company reinforces its structure of access to new markets by obtaining phytosanitary authorisation in each of the countries.
According to José Ángel Talavera, commercial director of Seipasa, "the expansion of the business is supported by the investment in phytosanitary authorisations internationally. Seipasa has 15 years of experience in the obtaining marketing authorisation for biopesticide solutions and in the immediate future we will strengthen the economic investment in this area to continue in the same direction "."In the next few years," José Ángel Talavera assured, "the consolidation of the project internationally will be based on obtaining new phytosanitary authorisations. We know that development and innovation are not enough in our sector. Quality guarantees are necessary to certify that the products are adapted to the needs and characteristics of each type of agriculture."
Mexico will be the next country in which Seipasa will obtain new phytosanitary authorisations for the biofungicide Fungisei, which is already marketed in the USA. UU., Peru or Morocco. Seipasa has also started the process to obtain the authorisation for Fungisei in the main European markets, where the company also expects the extension of the authorisation to new uses of the Pirecris bioinsecticide.
Ecuador and Colombia are two other countries in which Seipasa expects to obtain authorisations soon, once the ongoing processes are completed. It is worth remembering that last May Seipasa obtained the Seica biopesticide authorisation in the USA.
These countries join a list formed by Spain, France, Portugal, United Kingdom, Italy, Morocco or Costa Rica, among others, where Seipasa already has phytosanitary certifications.
