Fruit Attraction strengthens the organic fresh products sector with its Ecorganic Market space

Fruit Attraction 2019 maintains its objective of satisfying the growing specialisation of the European fruit and vegetable operators and, in this line, will boost the fresh organic products sector in its Ecorganic Market space. Located in Hall 6 of IFEMA , this area will respond to the growing demand both nationally and internationally for organic products.

Thus, from 22 to 24 October, organic fruit and vegetable producers can show all the sector operators, importers, retail, HORECA (hospitality, foodservice, catering), and the entire fruit and vegetable distribution channel, and their offerings of brands and products to promote procurement and export relationships.

Organic production in Spain has undergone a major boom since its beginnings in the 1980s, having the largest area dedicated to organic farming in the EU and is among the top five in the world, with a growing internal consumption and a notable export volume. For the first time, Spain has entered the world’s Top 10 in terms of both domestic market volume (€1.686 billion), and year-on-year growth (13%). Within organic product groups, vegetables, fruit, tubers, pulses and nuts are in first place in terms of production and marketing.

The dynamism of the sector and its excellent perspectives make Fruit Attraction the best setting for organic fruit and vegetable producers to present their products and services. For this, they will have this exclusive exhibition area, larger than at previous editions, which will be located in a privileged location at the Fair.
