Fruit Attraction is hosting the conference “TECHNOLOGY ATTRACTION: INIA, technology at the service of agriculture” conference

The 11th edition of Fruit Attraction will host the “Technology Attraction: INIA, technology at the service of agricultureconvention,   which is being organised by INIA (the National Institute of Agricultural and Food Research and Technology)  and by Biovegen - a technological platform focused on plant biotechnology. Its goal is to highlight the importance of technology in raising the competitiveness of the Spanish agricultural sector. 

The discussion thus aims to be a forum for the presentation of the scientific and technological capabilities of the INIA centre network, and of how to make it available to the Spanish agricultural sector to improve the industry’s technological, competitive capacity and R&D investment.

Highly prestigious speakers will participate in the conference, including Hipólito Medrano Gil, director of INAGEA in the Balearic Islands, Esteban García Romero , director of IRIAF in Castilla La Mancha, Enrique Molto García, director of IVIA in the Valencian Community, Leire Barañano Orbe, director of NEIKER in the Basque Country, José Manuel Casanova, president and CEO of PROBELTE, Eva Sánchez, director and manager of INNOPLANT, as well as representatives from INIA, CITA Aragón, IFAPA Andalucía and IRTA Cataluña.

This session will be held as part of Fruit Attraction on Wednesday 23 October, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Fruit Forum space located in Hall 4.

Organised by IFEMA and FEPEX, Fruit Attraction 2019 will be held from 22 to 24 October in Halls 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 of Feria de Madrid. An event in which 1,800 companies and 90,000 professionals will meet, making Fruit Attraction the most effective international meeting point, at a key juncture for the professional supply and demand of fresh produce.
