Numerous national and international meetings at the Paradores stand at FITUR 2023
Paradores de Turismo de España held numerous national and international business meetings at the latest edition of FITUR. In addition, important activities were carried out at its stand, such as the presentation of its Strategic Plan and its new tourism offer to the media, travel agents and OETS directors; the signing of collaboration agreements with Renfe and the Starlight Foundation, the presentation of the 2023 Action Plan with the World Heritage Cities Group, and various institutional visits.
At the Paradores de Turismo de España stand, live cooking demonstrations were also held, as a showcase of the culinary offerings by different chefs from the company; the media were attended to, and recordings and live broadcasts were made by them.
To add to that, Paradores won the award for the best stand at the fair in the companies category, an accolade it also won in 2020 and 2022. The stand was inspired by the uniqueness of the company as a link between history and the future. Under the "Paradors: between heaven and earth", motto, a "cloud" of aluminium tubes and energy-saving LED lines were installed to resemble the sky. The walls separating the different rooms and work areas were made of more than 7,000 blocks of unfired compressed earth, made by a company from Extremadura specialising in this type of sustainable and ecological materials.
Its construction was in line with the hotel chain's principles of sustainability: "We opted for reusable materials with low environmental impact, which allow us to achieve a commitment to zero waste in dismantling, its reuse and a neutral carbon footprint throughout the entire process".
