ExpoÓptica 2018 closes its doors exceeding all expectations

During its celebration, the show organized by IFEMA, registered more than 8,300 participants and brought together 159 direct exhibiting companies and about 170 brands - 14% more than in its 2016 edition - which presented their innovations and novelties in a net surface of almost 5,000 m2, located in Hall 9.

ExpoÓptica, International Salon of Optics, Optometry and Audiology, the leading trade fair of the sector in the Iberian Peninsula and a commercial meeting point for all its agents in Spain and Portugal, has concluded its thirty-second edition, at IFEMA-Feria de Madrid, exceeding all expectations.

In this call, the show premiered a renewed concept, in line with the new needs of the market, incorporating 14% more prestigious national and international brands, as well as novel and attractive contents, which included the latest advances in the world of optics and optometry, to the new fashion proposals of the leading participating brands. In addition, Audiology had a special role, opening its own space: ExpoAudio.

ExpoOptica's offer included ophthalmic and contact lenses, frames, sunglasses and optical instruments, raw materials, optics equipment, furniture, machinery, cases, accessories, spare parts, maintenance products, computer solutions for opticians, franchises, training ... In short, a complete overview of this industry and the sectors of Optics, Optometry, Contactology, Ophthalmology, Low Vision (Health), and Conditioning for Points of Sale.
