The Speakers’ Corners at EXPODENTAL 2022 will take a deep dive into some of the technological, technical and treatment-related innovations presented at the show

Digital dentistry, advanced scanners, 3D printing and other technological innovations in dental equipment, new techniques and treatments, prostheses, immediate dental implants, more efficient anaesthesia, clinic management and health product distribution are some of the areas already covered in the initial scheduling, with more yet to come

EXPODENTAL 2022 already has a busy schedule of informative presentations which, as always, will take place within the framework of its two Speakers’ Corners, located in Halls 8 and 10 at the exhibition centre. This major international event for the dental industry is organised by IFEMA MADRID and promoted by Fenin, the Spanish Federation of Health Technology Companies, and is taking place from 24 to 26 March. In tandem with the trade show itself, there will also be a space where industry professionals can find expert information on some of the most innovative technologies and solutions developed by manufacturers in recent years, as well as new proposals aligned with the digital transformation process, which will focus on improving clinic management and efficiency and patient care.

In the preview for the schedule, 36 sessions have already been booked by 23 companies and exhibiting entities. Topics include the potential of digital dentistry from various perspectives, such as the future of CAD/CAM and software solutions, with a focus on the innovations and opportunities made possible by the use of this technology.

In terms of treatments, there will be discussions on modern protocols for prosthetic implants through the analysis of techniques, materials and design strategies, as well as orthodontics with aligners, immediate dental implants, and a session focused on the benefits of hyaluronic acid in orthodontics, oral rehabilitation and periodontics.

Another area of the schedule is focused on techniques, including topics such as the treatment of atrophic maxilla, efficient scanner protocols, screwing and cementing techniques for immediate dental implants, 3D printing, teeth whitening, post-endodontic tooth reconstruction, the art of composite, and more efficient and comfortable anaesthesia.

In addition, there will be various presentations exploring clinic management, virtual patient planning and rehabilitation, the importance of distribution for the health sector, social networks and new ways of communicating with patients, dental health, and the importance of mock-ups in dental aesthetics.

Many of these sessions will focus on specialisations as well as on the programmes offered by the universities, training centres and companies taking part in the Expodental Training Area, filling out the programme of talks at the Speakers’ Corner in Hall 8 with benchmark content for professionals interested in updating their knowledge and skills in various areas. Some of the presentations will also be of particular interest to future dentists, hygienists and dental technicians, who will be able to visit the trade fair to see the innovations and attend the talks on Thursday 24 March, which EXPODENTAL designates as STUDENT DAY.

TIPSA, a benchmark in urgent transport for the Dental-Pharma sector, will be the main sponsor at EXPODENTAL 2022. Its Director General, Antonio Fueyo, will visit the Speakers’ Corner in Hall 8 on Friday 25 March at 1:25 p.m., where he will present a talk entitled ‘Green logistics: Solutions and Opportunities for the Dental Sector’, exploring the innovations and challenges of sustainable urgent transport.
