Presentation of the 2024 edition of EXPODENTAL to Dental Sector companies

More than 100 professionals from 80 leading companies in the Dental Sector met at the Recinto Ferial this morning for a presentation of the upcoming edition of EXPODENTAL 2024, the International Dental Equipment, Supplies and Services Show. Organised by IFEMA MADRID in collaboration with the Spanish Federation of Healthcare Technology Companies (Fenin), the event will be held for the 17th time from 14 to 16 March 2024 (Thursday to Saturday). It will be entitled “Technology for professionals”.

The launch presentation featured speeches by the business manager of IFEMA MADRID, Arancha Priede; the general secretary of Fenin, Margarita Alfonsel, the president of the Dental Sector of Fenin, Luis Garralda, and the director of EXPODENTAL, Ana Rodríguez, who shared extensive information about the contents. The attendees heard about the strategy for ensuring the representativeness and internationalisation of this leading business-oriented trade fair and the intention of making it a major meeting point for all dentistry sector professionals. Roberto Rosso, founder and president of Key-Stone was also there to give an analysis of the current situation of the dental market.

The EXPODENTAL 2024 project

There are signs that EXPODENTAL 2024 will attract a large number of participants, above and beyond the figures achieved at the 2022 edition, which had 329 direct exhibitors - 238 national and 91 international from 17 countries; 542 exhibiting companies and 26,154 trade visitors, primarily from Portugal, Italy, Germany, France, and Argentina. The stand allocation procedure for the new edition, which will occupy Halls 4, 6, and 8 on the Recinto Ferial, will take place on 26, 27 and 28 September on the IFEMA MADRID site.

This time, Italy will be the guest country at EXPODENTAL, an initiative organised at every event that focuses on a country or region of interest to exhibitors to encourage their trade professionals to attend by offering a series of advantages to facilitate their visits.

EXPODENTAL will also allocate a dedicated space to the Training Sector, with information about interesting academic opportunities in undergraduate, postgraduate, and continuing vocational training, with the participation of universities, training centres, scientific societies, universities, professional associations, and companies. The Training Area will also have a specific area for activities where participating companies can give presentations and talks with its own Speakers’ Corner.

Likewise, and as usual, the educational side of EXPODENTAL will include Student Day on Thursday, March 14, an activity open to 4th and 5^th-year dental students, as well as future hygienists and dental technicians.

As well as the trade show, a series of presentations will be organised by exhibiting companies. These will be hosted in Speakers’ Corners at EXPODENTAL and will include explanations of new technologies, solutions and treatments developed in the last two years. At the 2022 edition, Speakers’ Corners featured 54 presentations that 1,125 attendees watched.
