The company will provide visitors with documentation explaining the Environmental Product Declarations ( EPD)

HISPALYT and its associated companies have developed the Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) of the different ceramic products: face bricks, bricks and ceramic blocks for coating, paving stones, roof tiles, slabs for floors and ceramic boards. During the celebration of CONSTRUTEC, Hispalyt provide visitors with documentation explaining the Environmental Product Declarations ( EPD) for ceramic materials, which can be collected at the Association’s stand.

Sustainability is an increasingly important criterion for the building sector, and the products used play an important role in the environmental impact of the building. In this context, the Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) provide clear and rigorous information about construction products for the assessment of the environmental performance of buildings or works.

Specifically, HISPALYT has developed the environmental label type III, known as Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) , for the different ceramic products throughout their life cycle (cradle to grave), demonstrating that their environmental friendliness. To this end, it hired the UNESCO Chair of the Life Cycle and Climate Change (ESCI-UPF) for the development of six Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) and, secondly, AENOR for the checking of said EPDs for publication in the GlobalEPD programme.
