The 31st International Education Opportunities Exhibition will feature different spaces and experiences to offer students, families and schools personalised guidance.
Once again, the 31st International Education Opportunities Exhibition, AULA 2023, will be a meeting for the entire education sector, featuring a variety of spaces to help students to make decisions about their educational and professional futures with "AULA Experiences". One of the most exciting will be the "Learn to Programme" area, with free interactive activities designed for students and families on 25 March 2023. AULA will also host the 7th school micro-story contest
"Living together is not a fairy tale". The event will be part of the eighth EDUCATION WEEK 2023, Spain's largest education week, organised by IFEMA MADRID on the Recinto Ferial from 22 to 26 March 2023, which this time focuses on Artistic Education.
AULA 2023 has already assigned space to schools and universities, having confirmed the expectations of extensive participation at this edition focused on promoting artistic subjects, Vocational Training and the other major areas which are habitual at the Fair. AULA 2023 emphasises the importance of Artistic Education, aligned with the UNESCO objectives, which recognise the potential of creativity as a key resource for sustainable development and to contribute to quality, inclusive education. Vocational Training will also be there, showcasing its growing importance in education and society.
This exhibition, which will focus on educational guidance, is designed to be a macro space with in-person services and is receiving support from the full gamut of educational associations and institutions, particularly the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training, once again present at the event.
Main proposals
The specialist areas at the Fair include proposals like the EQUALITY CLASSROOM, in collaboration with the Women's Institute. Its purpose is to encourage equality among the young. Furthermore, it will have a specific space to host activities and workshops with different entities. The others will include: ROBOTIC CLASSROOM, with presentations and Training workshops in educational robotics in collaboration with the Charles III University of Madrid; AULA FORUM, with presentations of workshops conducted by the bodies and institutions participating in the Exhibition; PERFORMING ARTS AND MUSIC STAGE+, with demonstrations and large scale artistic performances; VOCATIONAL TRAINING STAGE, presenting specific Vocational Training activities; the SPACE FOR ART AND COEXISTENCE, with artistic initiatives related to school coexistence, and lastly, the SOLIDARITY CLASSROOM is a space consisting of NGOs that work on educational projects and which offer volunteering activities to students, supporting the commitment to the objectives defined in the Sustainable Development Agenda.
On the other hand, AULA will hold the 7th LIVING TOGETHER IS NOT A FAIRY TALE competition in collaboration with the General Council for Children's and Young People's Books. This is a Micro Storytelling Competition, whose slogan is "Living together is not a fairy story", a collaborative activity between teachers and students that recognises creativity and coexistence at school.
As well as the 31st International Education Opportunities Exhibition (AULA), EDUCATION WEEK 2023 will include the 27th International Educational Equipment and Teaching Resources Show and 5th Congress of Educational Resources, INTERDIDAC Espacio RED; the 14th International POSTGRADUATE AND CONTINUING EDUCATION Exhibition; the 21st International Congress and Professional Fair EXPOELEARNING, and the fourth edition of SCHOOLS DAY "Family and Schools Day". Furthermore, AULA also coincides with MADRID ES CIENCIA (MADRID IS SCIENCE), organised by the Community of Madrid and the MADRID+D Foundation and the STE-A-M area of the Community of Madrid at the Fair.
