At IFEMA we have always
focused in particular on
one of themainstays of our
economy, the construction
sector, arranging specialist
trade fairs for the segments
that comprise this industry.
VETECO, which showcases
the Spanish window and
curtain wall industry, one
of the largest in Europe,
and PIEDRA, the natural
stone fair, have both featured in our trade
fair calendar for many years, while the
construction sector itself, which has also
longhad its ownexhibition spaceat IFEMA,
is now being presented under the SCS, the
International Sustainable Construction
Solutions Fair banner. All three shows
take place as part of the new International
Efficient Construction and Rehabilitation
Week, SICRE.
This year, as the name indicates, the
gathering will be focused on efficient
construction and rehabilitation, reflecting
the current reality in the sector. With this
in mind, we have created a large multi-
sector exhibition space with the aim of
showcasing global efficient construction
and rehabilitation solutions, and will also
offer a space with a wealth of information
on sustainable construction.
To this end, we have come up with a
range of tools and organised programmes
of workshops and activities with the aim
of providing a business platform and
commercial tool that will boost the sector
and help companies with their marketing
strategies, ensuring they maximise the
return on their participation.

Desde IFEMA hemos prestado
desde siempre gran atención
a uno de los principales
motores de nuestra economía,
la construcción, y lo hemos
hecho a través de distintos
salones especializados en los
segmentos que configuran
esta
industria.
VETECO,
que ofrece visibilidad a una
industria como es la de la
ventana y fachadas ligeras
españolas, que se cuenta entre las primeras
de Europa, y la piedra natural, representada
en PIEDRA, y que tienen un largo recorrido
dentro de nuestro calendario ferial. Por su
parte, el sector propiamente de construcción,
que también ha tenido su espacio expositivo
en nuestro recinto ferial desde hace tiempo,
ahora se presenta bajo el nombre de SCS,
Salón Internacional de Soluciones para la
Construcción Eficiente. Todo ello bajo el
paraguas de la nueva Semana Internacional
de la Construcción y Rehabilitación Eficiente,
SICRE.
En esta ocasión, hemos puesto el acento de
la convocatoria, como queda demanifiesto en
su nombre, en la construcción y rehabilitación
eficientes, en sintonía con la realidad que
se impone en el sector. De tal manera, que
hemos configurado ungran espacio expositivo
multisectorial, dirigido a proporcionar
soluciones globales del ámbito constructivo
y de rehabilitación, con un enfoque eficiente,
además de ofrecer un espacio divulgativo
en torno a la eficiencia en el ámbito de la
construcción.
Para ello, hemos implementado una serie
de herramientas y programas de jornadas y
actividadesorientadosaproporcionar al sector
una plataforma de negocio y una herramienta
comercial, para contribuir a su dinamización
y ayudar a las empresas en sus estrategias
