MODACALZADO+IBERPIEL CONCLUDES ITS TWENTY-SEVENTH EDITION WITH MODERATE LEVELS OF SATISFACTION

• The opening of the fair for the first time on a Sunday was highly favourable. The first day of the fair on this occasion witnessed an 18% increase in buyers compared to the last edition

• A number of foreign companies of the stature of Ted Baker and Ilse Jacobsen, both new participants at the fair, have indicated that they intend to take part at the next edition of the fair

• The next edition of MODACALZADO+IBERPIEL will take place between 11th and 13th September, based on the same Sunday-to-Tuesday format, although the event will move to Halls 12 and 14 at Feria de Madrid

Madrid, 23rd March 2011.- Based on some moderately successful trading results and some good levels of satisfaction, both of which surpassed the initial expectations held by the majority of exhibitors, the twenty-seventh edition of MODACALZADO+IBERPIEL, the International Footwear and Leather Goods Trade Fair, finally closed its doors. This event, organised by IFEMA, took place between 13th and 15th March (Sunday to Tuesday) at Feria de Madrid.
