Energy efficiency and leading edge technology in the projects at the GENERA 2012 Innovation Gallery
The 23 selected projects demonstrate a high degree of innovation, pursue important energy savings, are applicable in very diverse environments and impact positively on the development of renewable energy and energy efficiency.
Intelligent heating, clearer and more economical lighting and improvements in the efficiency of electric cars are some of the innovative proposals in GENERA 2012.
For the fifth year in a row, the Jury of the INNOVATION GALLERY of the International Fair for Energy and the Environment organised by IFEMA, has selected the most advanced projects in energy efficiency, renewable energies and environmental protection. GENERA thus recognises the efforts in research and development spent by public and private entities to promote the most efficient utilisation of energy. Between May 23-25, GENERA will celebrate its fifteenth edition in the MADRID TRADE FAIR.
The jury, whose members are recognized professionals in the area, has selected 23 projects, which not only represent a wide range of technologies and different renewable energy sources, but can be applied to the most diverse environments. The generation of electrical energy from wave power (using waves), a customised elevator that adapts to the needs of the users and to the different standards in the countries where it is used, intelligent heating systems, cleaner and more economical lighting or an enhancement to the efficiency of the electric car are some of the new items presented this year in the INNOVATION GALLERY.
