IFEMA OUTLINES A NEW PROJECT FOR FITNESS
Madrid, 18 December 2009. Subsequent to an evaluation of the industry’s current circumstances and their impact on the development of the show, IFEMA has decided to postpone the celebration of the 14th Edition of the Fitness, Sports Facilities and Wellness Show, FITNESS, planned for 19-21 February 2010.
The difficulty of bringing together a sufficiently representative offering as a consequence of today’s market conditions, which has brought about major changes in companies’ marketing and PR investment strategies, together with IFEMA’s commitment to the 20,000 professionals and visitors that attend this event every year, are the main factors behind the rollout of a new remodeling project for the Show, one that will analyze fresh initiatives for energizing the industry and providing a more appropriate framework for satisfying the needs and expectations of today’s business community.
In this respect, work has already begun on the review of new formats for coming editions, with a focus on the integration of the Show’s different thematic areas in other IFEMA projects in order to blend synergies and commercial interests in the most effective scenario for achieving the industry’s strategic and developmental objectives.
