The Ministries of Education of different Autonomous Communities will be presenting experiences and ICT innovation projects at SIMO EDUCACIÓN

New methodologies, training scenarios and learning tools is just some of the content that will be covered by the Ministries of Asturias, Balearic Islands, Canary Islands, Castilla - La Mancha, Castilla - Leon and Madrid

The Community of Madrid will also be hosting a meeting of ICT coordinators on 19th October

Organised by IFEMA, the leading technology event for the teaching sector will take place on 19th-21st October 2016 in Hall 12 at Feria de Madrid

The Ministries of Education of the Autonomous Communities of Asturias, Balearic Islands, Canary Islands, Castilla - La Mancha, Castilla - Leon and Madrid will be attending the next edition of SIMO EDUCACIÓN to recount their experiences and ICT innovation projects as part of the programme of activities to be held in parallel with the exhibition.  The Fair, which is organised by IFEMA and will be held from 19th to 21st October in Hall 12 at Feria de Madrid, is to deal in depth with some of the examples of methodological innovation and new training models which are already being put into practice in different schools around Spain.

Over six sessions, to be held in the Aula Magna of SIMO EDUCACION, on 19 October, topics will be covered such as “ICT for methodological innovation projects within the framework of the Asturian programme contracts”, presented by the Head of Teacher Orientation and Training from the Ministry of Education of Asturias, María Vallina Paco; there will be a discussion of “Play4Learning, the new learning tool” in the presentation by the Coordinator of the Health and Education Area at the BIT Foundation, Francesc Tous Llul, organised by the Ministry of the Balearic Islands, and “ICT Observatory: training experience and peer exchange for methodological innovation” in the presentation that has been prepared by the Ministry of the Canary Islands, and which will be given by the advisor to the Teachers Centre of Tenerife Sur and Experience Coordinator, Natalia Guillén Chinea, and the advisor to the Teachers Centre of Las Palmas and Experience Coordinator, Luis Ivan Saavedra Rodriguez.

Also, under the title “Dialogue with stakeholders: New scenarios for training” there will be the presentation by the Ministry of Castilla - La Mancha, given by the Director of Training, Virtudes Pardillo, and the Head of Education Resources, Rosario Tercero, and representatives from the regional training centres of the Ministry of Castilla-Leon will explain their “innovation and ICT model in the educational centres of Castilla - Leon; innovation projects for the integration of ICT at all levels of life in schools; digitally intelligent centres”.

In addition, the Community of Madrid, which will be organising a meeting of ICT coordinators, also on 19th October, will be presenting at the Aula Magna the lecture “Innovation in Education”, with the participation of David Cervera, deputy managing director of innovation programs at the Directorate General of Innovation, Scholarships and Financial Aid to Education at the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the CAM.

The Community of Madrid, as well as the Ministries of Castilla - La Mancha and Castilla - Leon, fill out their presence in this edition with their corresponding stands in the exhibition space of SIMO EDUCACIÓN.

The programme for SIMO EDUCACIÓN, organised in collaboration with Educación 3.0, will include the holding of more than 200 sessions spread over seven auditoriums that will deal with all the educational stages.  A benchmark reference context for trends, cutting-edge experiences and initiatives around the ICT sector and its application in teaching in its broadest perspective, through the presentations by a list of renowned national and international experts; presenting a selection of 49 innovative experiences in the classroom; practical workshops; special day events that will be presented by Catholic Schools, Crue ICT, the National Institute of Educational Technologies and Teacher Training, INTEF, and different presentations that will be given by renowned companies from the sector, among others.
