Organised in conjunction with Madri+d, this event aims to facilitate communication between companies, research centres and universities in the education technology sector

The exhibition, which is organised by IFEMA, will be held from 25 to 27 October in Hall 12 of Feria de Madrid

SIMO EDUCACIÓN 2017 will set the stage for a business cooperation conference organised by the Madri+d Knowledge Foundation, as part of its activities for the Enterprise Europe Network

The aim of this conference is to facilitate communication and meetings between businesses, research centres and universities in the education technology sector. The sectors covered by this event are infrastructure and systems, audiovisual equipment, tools and solutions for education, telecommunications and the Internet, and publications.

The event, to be held on 26th October, will allow bilateral meetings to be arranged and held with potential partners. These short meetings of just 30 minutes in duration give companies and entities the chance to make initial contact with a view to future collaborations.

All companies, universities and public research authorities that are interested in participating in this conference must publish at least one technological supply or demand profile before 23 October 2016. These profiles will be published in an online catalogue from which technological profiles of interest can be selected and meetings requested.

Also, for the second year running, Madri+d is taking part in the organisation of SIMO EDUCACIÓN IMPULSO, a platform that aims to highlight and provide support and visibility for business projects and new companies that develop innovative technology-based projects with a variety of potential applications in the educational sector.  The Foundation will give the Madri+d Award to the best investment opportunity, which offers a “fast track” to presenting the project to more than 50 potential investors at the next Madri+d investment forum.
