Applications for press passes for the next edition of the MERCEDES-BENZ FASHION WEEK (14 to 19 September in Hall 14.1 at Feria de Madrid) open on July 19 and will close on 31 July.

Up to that date you can send your request by email to stating the names and details of people who are planning to attend. Please remember that this is the only e-mail address for submitting applications and it is therefore the one to use to avoid delays in processing your passes. The organisation takes no responsibility for any requests sent to other email addresses.  

Unfortunately, for capacity reasons we cannot always deal with all the requests received.  So, once again we insist that it is better for everyone if you only apply for passes for those persons whose presence at the fashion shows is absolutely necessary.

As in previous years, there will be a maximum number of passes for each fashion show and each media. To facilitate the work of all media professionals interested in attending, passes can be rotated among people from the same media.

Below are details of the documentation that you must send us. In this way, we aim to correctly identify media professionals and facilitate their work, so they can benefit from all the services we offer during the Fashion Week.

I would like to take this opportunity to remind you that photographs of the shows can only be used for information purposes and never for commercial, advertising or promotional purposes.  

Please also remember that passes are not automatically issued on application. Issuing of passes is subject to confirmation by the MERCEDES-BENZ FASHION WEEK MADRID/IFEMA press department, from September 1.  

Finally, to avoid inconvenience, bear in mind that people under the age of 18 are not allowed into the press area; neither are people not carrying MERCEDES-BENZ FASHION WEEK MADRID press passes, which are personal and not transferable.


 -The deadline for receiving applications is July 31, 2017

-All documentation must be sent to:  

-Websites, local media or media with limited distribution that have received passes in previous editions must enclose the material published or broadcast in previous editions together with their application to this year’s edition.

- Photo agencies must include a list of their media clients in their application.   

-As usual, no press passes will be issued to communication agencies, personal shoppers, shopping websites or online sales sites.
Data and material required for the application:

-All applications must be signed by the head of the section/programme or media outlet, and contain an email address and telephone number.

Freelancers or collaborators must also attach a letter from at least one media outlet they work with, signed by the director of the publication or the head of the section, with a mobile phone number and email for contact purposes.


- Name of the media outlet
- Name of each person attending
- Position held
- Identity Card Number 
- A clear, passport-size photo, in jpg format.
- Contact telephone
- Email

Fashion blogs. A selection of blogs. will receive passes in the form of a direct invitation from the organisation. The organisation will select from those specialised fashion blogs that offer their own point of view, have a large number of followers and continually update their content.
