The Mayor's Office of Medellín, the Department of Antioquia and the Metropolitan Area of the Aburrá Valley, will be at the Fair

Colombia’s main institutions will be at the latest IFEMA event, TRAFIC Latin America, Smart Mobility, Sustainability & Innovation, organised in collaboration with Plaza Mayor Medellín, which will take place from 13 to 15 June 2019 in the Colombian city of Medellín. The Mayor's Office of Medellín, the Department of Antioquia and the Metropolitan Area of the Aburrá Valley have expressed their desire to participate at the event, thus expressing their commitment to sustainable mobility. In fact, a delegation from IFEMA recently visited Colombia to strengthen relations with different companies and institutions.

International Franchise Expo - New York will be the event at which Spanish franchises will have the opportunity to show their business concept to thousands of international buyers.

In the agreement reached with MFV Expositions, the participation of American franchises is also being considered at the twenty-fifth edition of EXPOFRANQUICIA, the leading event in the sector, organised by IFEMA.


FRANCHISING BEYOND BORDERS, the platform developed and promoted by IFEMA to channel the international expansion of Spanish franchises, will reach the US market next May, coinciding with the International Franchise Expo - New York, one of the most important fairs in the United States, which is supported by the US Department of Commerce.

● Seyed Rezvani, General Director of Mundo Imperial, and Eduardo López-Puertas, General Director of IFEMA, were also present

● MULAFEST is a unique festival format based on the search for alternative talent and on promoting creativity

● The festival will have the same themes in Mexico as its Spanish counterpart: tattoo, garage, urban art, performing arts and urban sport, and will it include surfing as a discipline for the first time

After fifteen editions held in Madrid of the International Safe and Sustainable Mobility Exhibition, TRAFIC, a reference point for this industry in Spain, IFEMA has decided to internationalise the Fair by organising the first TRAFIC Latin America, Smart Mobility, Sustainability & Innovation, in collaboration with Plaza Mayor Medellín. A report by MERCASA, exhibitor at MEAT ATTRACTION, points to an average expenditure of 330 Euros

In each Spanish home, 50 kilos of meat and meat products are consumed on average per year, and the per capita expenditure is close to 330 Euros, according to a MERCASA report referring to the period 2008 - 2017 and based on data from the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Food and Environment, MAPAMA. MERCASA is part of the Organizing Committee of the second edition of MEAT ATTRACTION 2018, the Meat Sector Fair, jointly organized by IFEMA and ANICE, National Meat Processing Industries Association of Spain. The commercial event will take place between the18th and the 20th of September at Feria de Madrid.
