IFEMA moves its event for the HORECA sector to February 2017

Given the success achieved in recent editions of HOREQ and the impossibility of meeting the demand for increased space due to the event coinciding with Fitur, after a wide ranging study, the decision has been made to take the significant step of designing a new project that will strengthen the positioning of the sector whilst providing even greater business opportunities.

The entire range of exhibitions offered by HOREQ will now be available at HIP (Hospitality Innovation Plant), the new event organised by IFEMA and its expert partner in the sector, NEBEXT, broadening the content on offer to include innovations and trends in the hotel, restaurant and catering sector.
With the aim of creating a new and more ambitious trade fair platform to meet the challenges and demands of the HORECA sector and increase the trade and promotion opportunities for businesses, IFEMA is transferring its activities aimed at this sector to a newly created event to be hosted in collaboration with its expert partner, NEBEXT, between 19th and 21st February 2017.

This new trade fair initiative, to be known as HIP (Hospitality Innovation Plant), will focus its content on the latest trends, innovations and new business models and will also include the complete range of exhibitions offered by HOREQ, which was scheduled to take place between 18th and 20th January 2017.
IFEMA and its strategic partner will be announcing more details about the design of this new trade fair in the coming days.
