Solo Projects
The Solo Projects programme will be focused again on work by Latin-American artists. This year, the section will reinforce its ambition as a space for showcasing new work by Latin-American artists with the collaboration of a team of five curators. The selection of projects will be a mix of applications from galleries and invitations. Any gallery who so wishes can present a project by a Latin-American artist. A team comprising the guest curators and a member of the fair’s committee will then select the most interesting projects for ARCOmadrid 2013. Solo Projects also operates as a space for exchange between Latin America and Europe, with professional meetings with museum directors, critics and curators.
