This year will be its biggest ever event, with increased participation figures amounting to some 1,000 national and international brands and exhibitors

More variety, excellent quality and greater internationalisation. These will be the key aspects of this year’s Intergift, organised by IFEMA, which will take place from 12 to 16 September at Feria de Madrid. The International Gifts and Interior Design Trade Fair - the benchmark event for the world of interior design and gifts in Spain and one of the most important worldwide - will give professionals in the sector a complete picture of the innovative proposals and trends in these areas.

This year will be Intergift’s most wide-reaching yet, with increased levels of participation compared to last year, involving more than 1,000 national and international brands and companies. Exhibitors will show their collections for the autumn-winter 2018/19 season during these key dates for the presentation of new products geared toward Christmas and New Year campaigns.

With special focus on the world of interior design and the contract concept, which plays a leading role this year, this event will welcome back important participants including Becara, Thai Natura, Intereme and Renato Costa. The Trade Fair will also provide the setting for celebrations such as the firm Jolipa’s 40th Anniversary in the world of interior design.

The Trade Fair’s growth is visible in its spread across Pavilions 3, 5, 6, 7 and 9 at Feria de Madrid, where the products and services will be organised in separate areas focused on gifts, homeware and interior design, helping to make visiting easier for professional attendees. The entire interior design range is on display in the areas for High-end Decor - located in Pavilions 3 and 5 - and Textiles - Pavilion 5. Alongside these areas, Pavilion 7 is host to the Deco section and the Neo themed spaces, with new ideas in gifts, gadgets, kitchenware and home accessories, with creativity and design to the forefront, as well as the Hecho a Mano (Hand-made) area, featuring the creations of companies specialising in traditional and contemporary crafts. Regalomania, (Giftmania), located in Pavilion 6, will again showcase proposals and ideas for gifts for the young, promotional giveaways, toys, certificates, stationery, and items for parties, weddings, baptisms and communions. The Bazaar in Pavilion 9 will offer a wide range of knickknacks, bric-a-brac and souvenirs.

Besides all the products on show at Intergift, there will also be various activities, including those in the Espacio en Obras (Project Area), an initiative promoted by the General Council of the Professional Associations of Decorators and Interior Designers to spotlight the professional and creative capacity of interior designers and decorators. A space will again be set aside for a designer to work with products exhibited at the trade fair. In addition, there will be an extensive programme of seminars, presentations and round tables, under the banner of the Speaker's Corner, which will discuss the key points and tools for promoting and boosting business. Along the same line, the trade fair will again host the Madrid Hotel Retail Design Forum, organised by Grupo VIA, which will unveil the latest trends in interior design for the hotel sector, as well as for restaurants and retail premises.

Acknowledgments and After Fair Event
For the third consecutive year, Intergift will reward the loyalty of the businesses attending this important event, showing its appreciation for the participation of some of these establishments with the After Fair celebration on Friday 16 September.

Held in parallel with Intergift are Bisutex, the International Costume Jewellery and Accessories Trade Fair, and Madridjoya, the International Urban and On-trend Watch and Jewellery Trade Fair, making for an important all-round event for trends, fashion and consumer goods, boosting the Programme of International and National Guests, organised by IFEMA, and attracting major national and international buyers.
