The importance of interior design in the hospitality sector, the role of flowers and plants in decoration, the keys to window dressing, or the latest marketing techniques and on-line strategies, among other topics, will be subject to analysis in this edition

Organised by IFEMA, Intergift will be held at the halls of Feria de Madrid from 20 to 24 September

Among the many topics to be presented at the next edition of INTERGIFT, and together with the broad commercial offering to be showcased by close to one thousand companies and brands, the Show that IFEMA puts on from 20 to 24 September will once again be presenting a diverse programme of activities, practical workshops and presentations, to be held as part of its Speakers´ Corner.  A space designed to offer professionals information and practical training that will allow them to discover some of the key tools for promoting their businesses.  

The activities of the Intergift SpeakersCorner, which will be located in hall 7 of IFEMA, will be carried out in a very dynamic and participative format, with the inclusion of very novel topics.  Among other things, and given the significant interior design presence at the Show once again this year, different sessions on decoration will be held, such as the round tables “Interior Design and Training” and “Interior Design and Communication”, organised by Dolcevita magazine, and the workshop Introduction to the Moodboard or ideas board as a working tool in decoration, to be imparted by Belén Lopez, from the Antioquia Interiorismo studio. 

Additionally, Marta Banús from Banús Estudio, will talk about New design spaces in hospitality”, in an activity organised by Regalo Fama; there will be a talk entitled “Discover the latest trends in decoration”, by Rosa Urbano, an interior designer, and another on “The language of colour in decoration”, which will be offered by Rocío Esquilas and Carlos Roma, from Roma & Ro Estudio de Interiorismo, both talks organised by Mindway.  

Furthermore, and with the goal of offering companies, retailers and the professional world in general greater awareness of the role of a decorator in this day and age, the Consejo General de Colegios Oficiales de Decoradores y Diseñadores de Interior, CGCODDI (General Council of Official Schools of Decorators and Interior Designers), will organise a talk entitled “The role of the interior designer and decorator today”, by the renowned interior decorator Belén Sueiro.                                                                                          

Plants, flowers, packaging and window dressing

This edition will also offer activities related to the role of flowers and plants in decoration, like the one organised by the Spanish Florist Association, entitled “Discover new floral resources” by Cristina Sánchez Carnerero, from the El Paraíso florist's shop. Similarly, different talks focusing on the Christmas period will be presented, such as those offered by Regalo Fama on “Creative Christmas packaging, in charge of Gema Casas. 

Rounding out the Intergift Speakers’ Corner programme are other talks focusing on the world of window dressing, like the session on “Commercial lighting: highlight your product with lighting”, to be offered by Jenny Moscoso, from Años Luz Iluminación de Vanguardia

 Social media and marketing

Other focal points of the programme include topics related to the on-line and marketing strategy, which include the talks to be organised by BRAINPRISE, on “Professional management of social media for my businessand Attract and foster loyalty through social media, with the intervention of Laura Pérez Martínez; the talks to be offered by Regalo Fama, on “This Christmas connect your point of sale to the on-line world“ by María Ortega and Elena Fernández from Red Koroko; and talks to be offered by Mindway, entitled, “How to understand your customer” by Jorge Álvarez and Jorge Sotelo from Álvaro+Sotelo Arquitectos, and “Keys to business success”, to be held by Marta Ruiz de León, Economist and Co-Director of Estudio Mariano.

Seminar on Fashion and Lifestyle trends for the next season

Regalo Fama, in collaboration with INTERGIFT, has also organised a Seminar on Fashion and Lifestyle trends for the next season, imparted by the prestigious firm WGSN, world leader in predicting trends. Under the guidance of renowned specialists, this activity will provide valuable information on the colours, materials, design, style, etc., that will play a prominent role during the next season. The seminar will be held on Thursday 21 September at the GOYA Hall, located in the central avenue next to Hall 4.
