CNP Partners, the Spanish insurance company part of the CNP Assurances group, leader in personal insurance in France and fourth in size in Europe, approaches the artistic scene as an opportunity to share its core values: engagement, adaptability, co-operation and trust. Those values lay the foundation for a response to society’s challenges today as well as, for a projection into the future.
Imagining what the latter could be is what sparks CNP Partners’ engagement with ARCOmadrid 2018. As a sponsor of The Future section, its purpose is to shed light on artistic explorations into what our mission as a society should be in the next decades.
CNP Partners also wishes to see the public taking an active part in “The Future” through artistic experimentation. Therefore, in accordance with what the 20 selected galleries will offer in the section, its booth calls for discovering and sharing its vision of the future and its ambition for society.

ARCOkids will be back at the “Feria Internacional de Arte Contemporáneo” (ARCOmadrid). ARCOkids is a charity event for kids from 4 to 14 years of age, which gives them the opportunity to develop their creativity in a set of workshops organised by "Fundación Pequeño Deseo". Thanks to the collaboration of "DKV Seguros Médicos” and ARCOmadrid, the kids will have their own space in the art fair while adults enjoy the contemporary art displayed in IFEMA.
The funds raised in ARCOkids will be destined to the "Fundación Pequeño Deseo” in order to make the wishes of kids with terminal or chronic sicknesses come true. As Cristina Cuadrado, director of “Pequeño Deseo”, claimed “the participation of all those who come to our workshops will help us bring joy and hope to many sick children and will contribute to make their illness more bearable”
Just like in the six previous years, this creative space has taken place thanks to the support of the artists Pilar Cavestany, Piedad Palacio and Paloma Moreno del Real, who have designed and developed this project in order to inspire the creativity of all the participants. Once again, for this seventh edition, we have the collaboration of the model and designer Nieves Álvarez and her brand, N + V VILLALOBOS, so the children can have fun without worrying about stains. An altruistic collaboration that comprises fashion, art and solidarity in the year in which ARCOmadrid celebrates its 36th Anniversary.
Furthermore, in addition to the artistic and solidarity spirit, there is also ecological awareness in play, since the children will work with recycled materials. Through this experience, they will learn that through their imagination they can turn any material into an authentic work of art.
"Fundación Pequeño Deseo" has been working for over 18 years to make the wishes of children with chronic diseases or poor prognosis come true. Their objective is to support them emotionally and to make it a little bit easier for them to cope with their illness in their day-to-day routine. It is scientifically proven that the fulfilment of a wish generates many positive emotions that have a huge and direct effect on the well-being and physical improvement of the children.
