These are the star products of the Spanish multinational DASOLUZ in Europe. The DAS range trackers are dual-axis solar trackers, versatile and very easy to install, ranging from 3KW (DAS 4) to 17 KW (DAS 14).

This tracker has more than a thousand units sold in neighbouring countries, spread all over Portugal and Italy: for this, DASOLUZ has agreements with many Portuguese and Italian companies which thanks to its technical features, easy handling, transport and assembly make it the tracker of choice for installers and end customers.

DASOLUZ has not stopped innovating since its inception and currently conducts training sessions for its customers. Covering Europe from north to south, technicians specialized in the installation of the trackers carry out training courses in different parts of Europe to train installers, explain the easy assembly of the tracker and resolve any doubts so that customers have first-hand knowledge of the technical, customer service, commercial and maintenance departments to have the closest possible relationship.

The service offered by DASOLUZ in Europe is outstanding: a full technical team 365 days a year, available to solve any unforeseen circumstance within 24 hours thus reducing the impact causing the damage preventing the tracker from producing 100% and affecting the investment.

Finally, the DAS 4 technology enables the creation of a distributed IP access control. The tracker can be managed and checked from the website www.dasoluz.es via Internet or GSM tracker to check the performance, position or video surveillance from anywhere in the world.

DASOLUZ energía Solar S.L. is a business located in Toro, in the Spanish province of Zamora founded in 2006 by a business family with over 20 years in the electrical sector. It has a firm commitment to the emerging renewable energy market and more specifically in the field of photovoltaics.

From its origins DASOLUZ has continued to grow, breaking through nationally with more than 800 facilities of various sizes. The increase in MW has been constant since its inception, successfully overcoming the recession of 2009 in which the projection fell from 3 MW and 6 MW in 2007 and 2008 respectively to 2 MW. The recovery came in 2010 when it reached 8 MW and the current estimates for this year are more than 15 MW.

The expansion has continued abroad and so far in the process of international development it has reached countries such as Canada, Portugal, the United States, France, Italy and Greece with more than 2,000 facilities today.

DASOLUZ activity can be divided into two separate sections:

a) National Market: Installation, promotion and maintenance of any ground or roof photovoltaic system.
b) International Market: Design, manufacture and distribution of solar trackers. With a wide range called DAS, the highly qualified technical service makes us sales leaders in countries such as Italy and Portugal.

Proof of this commitment to international expansion and national consolidation is the future construction of an industrial complex in Toro. To do this, DASOLUZ will invest 1.2 million Euros in a new plant which will have 2,000 square meters distributed over different locations where dual-axis solar trackers will be manufactured and where the different models will be displayed including its range of products.

This new building will also house the business headquarters and the technical and R + D departments. "This project is very ambitious because once completed, it will be sustained only by renewable energy. Thus, we propose a design and development at zero cost to the atmosphere due to zero CO2 emissions during the manufacturing process," said David Alonso, the director general of DASOLUZ.

The international strategy of the Spanish multinational is to strengthen its expansion with an investment of more than 500,000 Euros in the search for new partners so that all installers are aware of the advantages offered by DASOLUZ which will be joined to the 230,000 Euros spent for this purpose in the last two years. The goal is to expand collaboration with universities and technology centres and to participate in trade fairs specializing in the photovoltaic sector to show their expertise in the manufacture and distribution of solar trackers.

DASOLUZ forecast for 2011 is to close the year with a turnover of close to 26 million Euros which will provide stable economic performance "after the break that occurred in the Spanish photovoltaic sector after the entry into force of new legislation," said David Alonso. This development will encourage an increase in the workforce which according to estimates from the head of DASOLUZ will move from the current 45 employees to 70.
