The goal of this space is to promote achievements involving research and innovation, as well as to recognise the efforts that companies in the industry have been making in this direction. The New Product Gallery is also one of the spaces at SICUR focused on sharing information and knowledge with professionals.
After analysing the various proposals, a panel of expert judges with links to the various industries involved with SICUR has selected a total of 31 proposals, which essentially highlight new applications for technologies available in the area, as well as specific technological developments. Of these 31 products, 8 correspond to the Fire Safety Industry; 14 to Workplace Safety – SICUR PROLABOR –, and 9 to Security.
Fire Safety (8 products)
In the Fire Safety industry, the proposals on display will be oriented towards energy savings, such as a smart lantern able to vary its brightness level according to specific needs and ozone-friendly aerosols for fire extinguishers, as well as towards significant advancements in fire extinguishing equipment, which are becoming more versatile and multi-functional all the time. There is even a new product oriented towards practical training for emergency situations.
