

Between 9th and 13th September 2009, Madrid will become the largest showcase of new features for the consumer goods and household furnishings industry in order to mark the staging of the fifty-seventh edition of Giftrends Madrid International Gift, Jewellery and Fashion Week. Over a period of five days, this grand trade event, which is organised by IFEMA, will bring together at FERIA DE MADRID the products and services of nearly 1,500 national and international exhibiting companies, thus confirming the fair's highly representative capacity and its status as one of the most outstanding trade events on the European calendar.
Within the framework of Giftrends Madrid, the events known as INTERGIFT, the International Gift Fair, BISUTEX, the Fashion Jewellery and Accessories Trade Fair, and IBERJOYA, the International Jewellery, Silverware, Watch and Related Industries Exhibition, will all be staged to coincide. These leading events within their respective sectors offer professionals the opportunity to discover the most comprehensive forum of information, trends and new features.
The latest fashion trends define the exhibition at INTERGIFT and point towards an array of products that is packed with contrasts and original ideas in each of the sections that make up the fair: Atmósfera ("Ambience"), will bring together the products and services of a number of cutting-edge integral home decoration companies; Elementos Decorativos ("Decorative Items"), will bring together the latest in home accessories; Fantasía ("Imaginative Items") will present an entire repertoire of gadgets, writing items, toys, stationery products and the world of licensing; Textil ("Textiles") will present the latest collections and fashion lines under the headings of bed linen, table linen, bathroom products, etc.; Mesa Viva ("The Living Table"), devoted to the latest in crockery sets, home furnishings and accessories; Viaje ("Travel Items"), a space presenting suitcases, travel bags and all kinds of accessories, and Regalos Diversos ("Miscellaneous Gifts") that will feature an entire array of products and ideas based on a strong sense of creativity and originality.
For its part, BISUTEX will offer visitors a special tour through the world of fashion by presenting the latest new features in fashion jewellery and accessories from more than 300 exhibiting companies. The latest new designs, colours and materials for Autumn-Winter 09/10 will play the leading role at this exhibition, which has established itself as one of the leading showcases for new trends throughout the course of its 44 editions.
IBERJOYA will present the new collections, features, product lines and trends from the jewellery industry, along with a range of ideas in silverware, a series of designer collections and high-class timepieces and the technological and marketing products and services of related industries. This exhibition will feature the participation of the main Spanish manufacturers, brands of international prestige and a number of market leaders, all of whom will shape an ideal forum at which to boost trade activity and establish an effective line of communication between supply and demand.
