On the 13 March, MOTORTEC AUTOMECHANIKA MADRID, the 15th edition of Spain’s Leading International Trade Fair for the Automotive Industry Targeting Trade Visitors from the Iberian Peninsula, Latin America and North Africa will host a Technical Conference on calibration, appraisals and safety of electrical vehicles by Centro Zaragoza and GT Motive. The setting for this professional event is the trade fair, organised by IFEMA, to be held from 13 to 16 March 2019 at Feria de Madrid.

The automotive industry has been undergoing unstoppable technology-based changes in recent years: advanced driver-assistance systems, ADAS, electrical and hybrid vehicles, connected cars, new materials, etc.

In this changing environment the industry must adapt to the new repairability challenges of these vehicles and to their new components. Training and the use of specific equipment are two of the main pillars for repair professionals who must adapt to the new reality.

To this end Centro Zaragoza and GT Motive, benchmark technological supplier of automotive management and assessment solutions, are jointly organising a Technical Conference for the 13 March, aimed at automotive professionals in general and at the repair and appraisal sector in particular, as well as for students who are interested in the automotive world at MOTORTEC AUTOMECHANIKA MADRID 2019.

The conferences will take place within the FORO TALLER MOTORTEC-BREMBO Forum in Hall 6, stand 6A05, in morning and afternoon sessions, with the following schedule:

11:00 am - 11:20 am: “Calibración de sistemas ADAS” (Calibration of ADAS systems)

12:00 pm - 12:20 pm: “Cómo peritar correctamente un vehículo eléctrico” (How to correctly appraise an electrical vehicle)

1:00 pm - 1:20 pm: “Seguridad en la reparación de vehículos eléctricos e híbridos” (Safety in the repair of electrical and hybrid vehicles)

3:00 pm - 3:20 pm: “Calibración de sistemas ADAS” (Calibration of ADAS systems)

16:00 - 16:20: “Cómo peritar correctamente un vehículo eléctrico” (How to correctly appraise an electrical vehicle)

5:00 pm - 5:20 pm: “Seguridad en la reparación de vehículos eléctricos e híbridos” (Safety in the repair of electrical and hybrid vehicles)

The main goal of these conferences is to share with repair services the importance of having both calibration equipment and the knowledge required to guarantee that the systems will work correctly after the repair.

Attendees will also discover the differences that are entailed in the appraisal of latest-generation vehicles, both due to their propulsion system and to their structural composition; and they will see how to minimise the risks of repairing electrical and hybrid vehicles.
